Louisville Fire Department
Policies

Character | Respect | Leadership | Professionalism

1. RP Professionalism Policy

All fire personnel must maintain high RP standards and realism during all scenes. Breaking character, trolling, or failing to portray your role respectfully may result in removal from the department.

2. Chain of Command Policy

Respect the in-character chain of command at all times. Orders from superior officers must be followed unless they break server rules or disrupt RP quality.

3. Server Rule Compliance

All Fire Department members must strictly follow the server’s rules and community guidelines. Violations reflect on the department and may result in disciplinary action or removal.

4. Activity & Participation Policy

Members must remain active and participate in callouts, patrols, and department events. Extended inactivity without notice may lead to removal.

5. Uniform & Vehicle Use Policy

Use only approved department uniforms, gear, and vehicles. Unauthorized customization or use of non-FD assets is not allowed unless permitted by a supervisor or RP event.

6. Interagency Conduct Policy

Always maintain respectful RP interactions with police, EMS, dispatch, and civilians. Departments are expected to work collaboratively in all scenes.

7. Scene Realism Policy

Respond realistically to calls. No rushing scenes, power gaming, or using OOC knowledge. All actions should reflect proper fire/rescue RP.

8. Radio & Communication Policy

Use appropriate in-character radio codes and terminology. Keep comms clear and avoid excessive OOC chatter unless necessary.

9. Confidentiality Policy

Do not leak department documents, rosters, or in-development content. In-RP details should not be discussed OOC without permission.

10. Disciplinary Policy

Failure to follow these policies may result in verbal warnings, suspensions, or removal from the Fire Department, depending on the severity and frequency of violations.
